ABOUT ME

Magnolia Bermellon is the name of my blog. My name is Isis Cortés, from Mexico City. Chilanga at heart. I have a Bachelor's Degree on Animation and a Master's on Visual Effects, for that reason I enjoy communicating stories through video. I am also a big fan of photography and cooking.

One of the things I love the most about my country is homemade food, the one's that are passed down from generation to generation. And one of my biggest dreams is to create videos to preserve these traditions.

Currently I generate digital content on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook in English and Spanish and on this blog I post the recipes in PDF for free. If you could subscribe to my channel on Youtube, FB, or Instagram you would be helping me achieve my dream.

If you like the content I make you can help me continue generating content by ☞ buying me a coffee. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for watching my videos, and visiting my blog.

I am open for comissions or freelance work.

THE ORIGIN OF MAGNOLIA BERMELLON

Magnolia is the flower of an evergreen tree, which is abundant in the states of Michoacán, Puebla, Tlaxcala and Veracruz in Mexico.

Vermilion is a tone of orange-red, like the color of the bird's feathers Pyrocephalus rubinus.

My mom loves plants and I love birds. We love nature and that is why the name Magnolia Bermellon fit perfectly with this project.

WHY DID I CREATE THIS BLOG?

For a few years now I wanted to do a personal blog and after talking with my family I decided that my way of helping people during these times of COVID-19 would be by creating videos on home cooking recipes and selfcare.

I hope these recipes work for you, and that you can share them with someone. All this content is made at home with tons of love.
